Callers offering "special renewal discounts" far below market rates
An unrealistically cheap quote is the most common opening move. Verify the number before engaging.
Trust only the real CoverYou.
Fraudsters posing as CoverYou are calling doctors with fake renewals, spoofed numbers and "discounts that expire today." This is the official CoverYou verification portal. Check any number here before you pay anyone. The asli CoverYou has exactly three official channels, a green Truecaller badge, and never collects premium in a personal account.
Dear Doctors,
Your trust is our greatest responsibility.
Please be aware that some individuals may attempt to impersonate the CoverYou brand and contact you with misleading renewal offers or policy-related communications.
CoverYou is the only authorized organization to provide your policy benefits and services. Before making any payment, sharing personal information, or acting on any policy-related request, please verify the caller through our official CoverYou channels.
If you receive any suspicious call, message, or communication claiming to be from CoverYou, kindly report it to us immediately.
Verify first. Trust only the real CoverYou.
Live numbers from the Trust Center, growing every day, doctor by doctor.
CoverYou contacts you from exactly three numbers. Every renewal call, every WhatsApp message, every support line. Fraudsters spoof numbers and use similar names, so anything else claiming to be CoverYou must be verified before you respond.
Start typing the number that called or messaged you, with or without +91, spaces or dashes. The result appears as you type.
Every CoverYou advisor carries an official employee ID. Ask for it on any call or visit, then check it here. You will instantly see the advisor's name and whether they are currently an active CoverYou employee.
Remember: employment history is not current authorisation. Former employees claiming CoverYou affiliation is a known fraud pattern, so always check the ID, not just the name.
Enter the advisor's E-Code (with or without CY), or the one-time verification code they shared.
A caller claims to be CoverYou: renewal due, discount available, urgency in the voice.
Don't argue, don't decide on the call. Paste the number into the Trust Center. It takes 10 seconds.
Green means it's officially CoverYou. Red means it is not one of our channels.
Genuine: continue with confidence. Fake: don't pay, don't share OTPs. Report the number so we flag it for every doctor.
Side by side, the difference is unmistakable. Fraudsters spoof numbers and copy names, but they cannot copy the green tick, the official numbers, or the way we handle payments.
Personal UPI ID, artificial deadline, no verified badge. Classic fraud.
Green verified business account, one official number, payment only through company channels.
Knowing your policy details proves data leakage, not authorisation. Fraudsters also spoof numbers that look similar to official ones.
Green screen, brand name, logo and badge. A fraudster cannot obtain a 1600-series number. Sales calls also come only from CoverYou verified Truecaller numbers carrying the same green badge. Double check and verify.
Shortlinks, QR codes and lookalike sender IDs pushing instant payment. Delete and report.
When in doubt, you call us on the toll-free number, never the other way around.
Almost every impersonation call follows the same three moves. Recognise the pattern and the call falls apart on its own.
"80% discount, sirf aaj ke liye." Genuine insurance pricing does not expire in an hour. An unrealistic quote is the hook, not a deal.
"Policy aaj lapse ho jaayegi, abhi payment karo." Fear plus a deadline is designed to stop you from verifying. Pause. Verify. A genuine offer will survive 10 seconds.
Premium requested to an individual's UPI ID or savings account. This is the giveaway: company premiums never route through a person.
Recent patterns reported by doctors and verified by our team.
An unrealistically cheap quote is the most common opening move. Verify the number before engaging.
Data familiarity does not prove authorisation. Always verify the caller and the payment route.
Never transfer policy premium to an individual's UPI ID or savings account.
Share the number and what happened. One report may identify a wider pattern before another doctor receives the same call, and every flagged number strengthens the check above.
Create your badge after sharing the page. It recognises doctors who help another doctor verify before they trust.
One verification today can prevent someone else from losing their hard-earned money tomorrow.
