On 14th April 2025, we received a request from one of the renowned doctors, regarding partial claim approval for his Hyundai Creta, which had sustained damage in an accident on 8th April. While the front bumper, left fender, and left cladding were approved, crucial parts such as the left side mirror, left front door, and lower front bumper were rejected by the surveyor, who argued they didn\u2019t match the cause of loss.<\/span><\/p>\n

Understanding the inconvenience, we immediately intervened and discussed the matter with the surveyor. However, due to continued disagreement, the issue was escalated to our SPOC at ICICI for review. Following a detailed assessment, all previously rejected parts were approved on 21st April, and the vehicle was delivered to the insured on 23rd April. The insured acknowledged the timely support and smooth experience with appreciation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Challenges<\/b><\/h2>\n

Partial approval of parts caused concern; key components were rejected on the grounds of mismatch with the cause of loss.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resolution & Action Taken<\/b><\/h3>\n

We quickly engaged with both the surveyor and the ICICI team, provided justifications, and escalated where required. Our intervention ensured complete approval, timely repair, and a smooth claim experience from intimation to delivery in under 10 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Final Outcome<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

The claim was successfully paid and closed on 23rd April 2025 with a final settlement of \u20b917,675 against the requested amount of \u20b919,775, processed under a cashless facility. The entire issue was resolved through swift escalation and consistent follow-up, resulting in complete approval of all damaged parts. The doctor expressed complete satisfaction with the outcome and appreciated the professional support offered throughout the claim journey.<\/span><\/p>\n
