A well-known gynecologist and FOGSI member from Bangalore wasn\u2019t asking for much, just what she was rightly owed under her <\/span>health insurance policy<\/b>. In May 2025, she submitted a <\/span>reimbursement claim for \u20b928,519<\/b> under her Niva Bupa individual health insurance policy, covering her pre- and post-hospitalization expenses. She submitted the documents and followed every instruction. She waited. And then\u2026 the claim was rejected.<\/span><\/p>\n

And after weeks of consistent follow-up and professional pressure, the status changed. On 26 June, we received confirmation: the claim was approved, and the \u20b923,969 was paid out. Finally the doctor receives justice. It wasn\u2019t just a number. It was a statement: A doctor\u2019s time is too valuable to be spent chasing the same query over and over again.<\/span><\/p>\n
